Apple swaps ‘overheating’ chargers

BBC News reports here: An iPhone charger shipped between 2009 and 2012 is prone to overheating, Apple says, as it launches an exchange programme for the defective items. The affecte units where sold in the following countries:

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Vietnam.
